Chief Relief Fund, BTC

The Chief Relief Fund, BTC is established at Kokrajhar, in the Bodoland Territorial Council, State of Assam. It works for wholly charitable purposes for the benefit of the public at large — and, in particular, the people residing in the Bodoland Territorial Council and elsewhere in India — without distinction of religion, race, caste, tribe, sex, place of birth or language.

Our Mission

To relieve poverty, advance education, provide medical relief, preserve the environment, protect art, culture and heritage, and advance objects of general public utility for the welfare of society.

Tax Status

The Chief Relief Fund, BTC is constituted for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 2(15) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and is intended to be eligible for registration under section 12AB and approval under section 80G of that Act, so that donations may qualify for deduction as permitted by law.
