These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website and services of Chief Relief Fund, BTC. By accessing this website or making a donation, you agree to these terms.
1. About the Fund
The Fund is a public charitable body established for wholly charitable purposes, including relief of the poor, medical relief, education and disaster relief, for the benefit of the public at large without distinction of religion, race, caste, tribe, sex, place of birth or language.
2. Donations are voluntary
All donations are made voluntarily. A donation is a gift for charitable purposes and is not made in exchange for any goods, services, benefit or consideration. Once made and confirmed, a donation is applied to the Fund's charitable objects and is treated as irrevocable, save as provided in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to contract, and the funds used must be from lawful sources. Contributions from foreign sources are accepted only in accordance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and only where the Fund is permitted to receive them.
4. Tax exemption (80G)
Eligibility for deduction under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961 is subject to the Fund holding valid approval and to the conditions and limits prescribed by law. You are responsible for providing accurate details (including PAN) required to issue a valid receipt.
5. Accuracy of information
You agree to provide true, current and complete information. The Fund is not responsible for receipts issued incorrectly due to inaccurate information supplied by you.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, logos, emblems, images and documents, is the property of the Fund or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, transmit malicious code, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
The website and services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the Fund shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Council, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
10. Amendments
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
